At National Counsellor, we are committed to providing high-quality career guidance services. We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to ensure a fair and transparent refund process for all our users. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted, the process to request one, and the timelines involved.
This policy applies to all paid plans on our platform, including the Basic (₹499), Pro (₹999), and Premium (₹1999) plans.
2. Refund Timeline
Our refund policy is structured into three tiers based on the time elapsed since your purchase:
Full refund, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 7 days of purchase, you are entitled to a complete refund of the amount paid.
50% refund subject to administrative review. Refund requests made between 7 and 30 days after purchase will be reviewed by our team and a 50% refund may be issued upon approval.
No refund available. Refund requests made after 30 days from the date of purchase will not be eligible for any refund, as significant service delivery is assumed to have occurred.
3. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Email Us: Send a refund request to info@nationalcounsellor.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]".
- Include Details: In your email, provide your registered name, email address, phone number, date of purchase, plan name, and the reason for requesting a refund.
- Acknowledgement: Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and may reach out for additional information if needed.
- Review: Your request will be reviewed by our administrative team based on the refund timeline above.
- Resolution: You will be notified of the outcome via email within 5–7 business days of submitting your request.
4. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, the refund amount will be credited back to your original payment method within the following timelines:
- UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days.
- Debit Card: 5–7 business days.
- Credit Card: 7–10 business days (depending on your bank's processing time).
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. National Counsellor is not responsible for any delays caused by third-party payment processors.
5. Exceptions
Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:
- If the user has already utilised a significant portion of the services (e.g., completed counselling sessions, downloaded career reports, or attended live sessions).
- If the refund request is made after the 30-day window has elapsed.
- If the account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
- For promotional, discounted, or free trial plans, unless specifically stated otherwise.
In exceptional circumstances, refund requests outside the standard timeline may be considered at the sole discretion of National Counsellor management on a case-by-case basis.
