If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use our platform, and that your parent or guardian has read and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Description of Services
National Counsellor provides AI-powered and expert-assisted career counselling services for students in India, primarily those in classes 10th and 12th. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Personalised career assessments and psychometric evaluations.
- Stream and career recommendations based on academic profile, interests, and aptitude.
- College and university matching with entrance exam guidance.
- Scholarship discovery and application support.
- One-on-one counselling sessions with certified career counsellors (available in select plans).
- Career roadmap reports and downloadable resources.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.
3. User Registration
To access certain features of our platform, you may be required to create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share them with any third party.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, or that violate these Terms.
4. Payment Terms
National Counsellor offers the following subscription plans:
- Basic Plan: ₹499 — Includes AI career assessment, stream recommendations, and basic college matching.
- Pro Plan: ₹999 — Includes everything in the Basic Plan plus one-on-one counselling session, detailed career roadmap, and scholarship matching.
- Premium Plan: ₹1999 — Includes everything in the Pro Plan plus unlimited counselling sessions, application assistance, and priority support.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment gateway. We accept UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and other supported payment methods.
Subscriptions are one-time payments for the services described in the selected plan. There are no hidden charges or automatic renewals unless explicitly stated.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a fair and transparent refund process. Please refer to our Refund Policy page for complete details on refund eligibility, timelines, and procedures.
6. User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to career guidance and education.
- Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our platform, servers, or databases.
- Not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content on our platform without prior written consent.
- Not impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
- Provide accurate academic information to ensure the quality and relevance of career recommendations.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of National Counsellor and its content providers.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the National Counsellor platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, assessment tools, reports, and software, is the property of National Counsellor and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
National Counsellor provides career guidance and recommendations based on the information provided by users and available data. However:
- We do not guarantee admission to any specific college, university, or educational institution.
- Career recommendations are advisory in nature and should not be treated as definitive decisions. Final choices rest with the student and their family.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in question.
9. Disclaimer
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information or services provided. College admission criteria, scholarship availability, and career prospects may change without notice and are subject to the policies of the respective institutions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
